MyOn Reading

MyOn is a fabulous resource which allows the children to continue their reading at home by allowing them to access a variety of books in their ZPD levels and quiz on them. 

All the children have been given their username and password and these are stuck inside their Reading Journals. The website can be accessed through here. 

 

We still want the children to continue reading physical books from our bookcases; these are monitored by the class teacher and are the appropriate level which is both accessible and challenging for the children and allows for good progress. 

 

So, when should your child use MyOn? Below is a chart that shows when exactly the children are expected to access MyOn for reading. (If you are not sure, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Musil; this is a new way of bringing reading to the children and hopefully, it will bring them a lot of joy and pleasure from reading!)
