This week we are looking at rockpools and some of the creatures you find in them. You may like to read the book Sharing a Shell. There are several resources for you to look at and activities to try.

For our maths focus this week we are practising subitising , which is when you can see the amount of objects with out the need to count them.  You can use the presentations to show your child the dots and then take the dots away again and see if they can say how many dots there were. 

Our phonics is still concentrating  on hearing initial sounds. You an use the resources to hear which objects start with the sounds given. do not worry about your child recognising the written letter but hearing it in words. You can also continue with  1 spy and oral blending  activities too.
