Our Christian Vision
"I can do everything through God who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13
Our school vision statement, ‘I can do everything through God who gives me strength’ Philippians 4:13, underpins everything that we do. This verse, written by Paul whilst in the middle of great trial and difficulty, is a claim of real victory over adversity, as Paul is able to feel contentment even in the hardest of times. Children, staff and families at Cronton journey together through the highs and lows that life brings; we Believe, Enjoy and Succeed Together. We understand, through our relationship with God, how to approach difficulties and challenges and how to have contentment and peace in all situations. Our vision both inspires us and gives us the confidence to live out our Christian faith in our communities, as we embrace our Christian values and strive to shine brightly. With God’s help, we seek to be fully inclusive and provide all our children with the best possible education. We are committed to ensuring we develop the whole child, linked to Church of England’s vision for education: John 10:10 - “life in all its fullness”.
Our trust vision ‘Learn, Love and Achieve together with Jesus’ supports what we do as a school as we seek to journey through life together as a family with Jesus as our cornerstone. We want to be a school defined by love and a school where all members of the community feel loved, feel like they learn and ultimately feel like they achieve. We can do each of these things through God who gives us the strength to do so. |
What has been happening in school?
Year 6 Leavers' Service - Liverpool Cathedral
Year 6 enjoyed a lovely leavers' service today at Liverpool Cathedral. They joined around about 900 other children and adults as they celebrated their time at our school and thought about moving on to secondary school. The service focused on Moses and the crossing of the Red Sea and God's provision through this. There was a lot of singing and a really lovely message to reflect on. Thank you to all parents who were able to join us too.

Year 1 Btales - Peace
WOW! What a wonderful class worship from Year 1. Such confident performances from everybody and a wonderful message about the peace we can have through faith in Jesus! Thank you Natasia for helping us learn the play in just one day, and thank you to all the parents who showed up to watch the final performance too. We hope you enjoyed it!

Easter Experience
Wow! What an experience. Thank you to Clare and all of our friends at St Luke's/Cronton Mission for your help in putting on a fantastic Easter experience for our children. The children were able to walk through the whole of the Easter story and reflect at each station on what it meant to them.

Ecumenical Service 2024
Well done to all of the children involved in the Ecumenical service for this year. It is always wonderful to gather as one whole Cronton community and to celebrate Christmas together. A huge well done to our readers and actors, as well as all of those involved in the choir.

Jonah... with a Christmas twist!
The whole school thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas show of Jonah... with a Christmas twist. It was hilarious but also so meaningful. A great way to celebrate the good news of Christmas together.

Year 6 - Class Worship - Compassion
Our year 6 completed a play in the day with Bible Tales all about our Christian value - Hope. They did an amazing job and really shared the meaning through Bible stories and song. The parents came along and watched the play.

Harvest Festival
For our Harvest this year, we looked at harvest around the world. Each class looked closely at a different country and how they celebrate Harvest. This was then placed into a whole school worship and shared with parents. This took place over two days. First the EYFS and KS1 completed an assembly based on different countries and how they celebrate the harvest for their country. In KS2 the children researched each country and what their harvest was and when it was produced throughout the year. They created posters, poems and prayers and all children spoke at the Assembly to share the Harvest of each country.
