 Hello  I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and the new possibilities  it brought. This week we will be reading the book Rainbow Fish. Our work in school will be based around this, including collage and counting the colourful scales and i have included the activities for you to join in at home too.  We will also be recapping maths language that we have previously used over the year and there are some pictures for you to help with this.  Encourage your child to use comparative words such as longer, shorter, taller instead of big and little and describe where the fox is using positional words such as in between, next to under etc.. Lastly there are some phonics ideas. we are now  concentrating on listening for initial sounds, such as .playing I spy or alliteration games.
