Sending a big thank you to Mrs Schulz for our amazing Y6 Leavers autograph books. We had a lovely time this morning writing messages to each other that we can look back on in years to come.

It's coming home!

We had great fun with Mr Souter this week, finding out how jobs and salaries work, in our ‘debt awareness’ lessons.

Y6 had a fun day today- quizzes, making ‘Malamander’ eyes that blinked and pizza, popcorn and film afternoon.

Well done to all our Y6 children!

Our Final Celebration Assembly of 2020!

Well done to all our winners!

We have Star Badges, Christian Value Awards, Ninja Readers, Christmas wreath decorating competition winners, Team Point winners and the all important Accelerated Reader word count winners trophy! Well done, Year 6!

Assessment Week and a Special Visitor!

This week has been assessment week in English and maths. Year 6 have worked incredibly hard and tried their best in each assessment. I am very proud of their efforts and mature attitudes.

On Thursday, we were lucky to have a very special visitor come to see us in school. Noddy the elf came to say hello and spread some festive cheer!

School Council Votes

We held our annual vote for new school council members. The candidates all impressed us with well-thought out speeches which were delivered confidently.

We also had candidates running to be Year 1 representatives. They gave their speeches to Year 1 over zoom and Year 1 then cast their votes.

We are all eagerly anticipating the announcement of the results. Good luck, Year 6.

Christmas Jumper Day

We got into the Christmas spirit early this year with our Christmas jumper day. They definitely brought some festive cheer to our classroom.

Anti-bullying Week

We had a great week of celebrating difference and that everyone is unique. We had an odd socks day,  crazy hair day, crazy tie day and we each received an anti-bullying wristband.

We are United Against Bullying!

20th October 2020

Our RE topic is Life is a Journey. As part of this topic, we have been looking at places of Christian pilgrimage as well as pilgrimage for people of other faiths.

We were very lucky to have Mrs Liptrott visit our class remotely to speak about her personal experience of pilgrimage to Uganda.

Week ending 6.11.2020

It's been great to be back at school this week after our half term break. Year 6 have impressed me this week with their hard work, motivation and excellent attitude to learning. They are really stepping up to the expectations of Year 6.

I'm looking forward to another great week next week. Enjoy your weekend. Mrs Mooney :)

Week ending 4.9.2020

What a great first week we have had!

It has been brilliant to welcome our new Year 6 class into school and they have already shown that they are mature and hard-working. I know that they are going to be excellent role models.

I am looking forward to our first full week next week and getting stuck into our subjects, and especially our new class text 'War Game'.

Well done, Year 6!
