Admissions

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below. 

If you need any advice about admissions, you can ring the Admissions Team on 0151 433 6142.

If your child is already in a school and is applying for a place mid year you will need to fill in the mid year application form.

 

If your child is due to start school in September 2022 you will need to read our policy and complete the application form for the authority in which you live.  Don't forget to submit any supplementary forms directly to the school. The closing date for applications is January 2022. 

The following 22-23 Admission Policy and supplementary form is proposed. If you have any comments regarding this policy please forward them to the school for the attention of Mrs. D.Doyle (Chair of Governors) by 29.1.2021. 

Appeals

APPEALS TIMETABLE

For September 2022 entry (Primary)

 

Cronton Church of England Primary School follows Knowsley's Appeals Timetable.

 

Appeals resulting from the year of entry for admission in September 2022 will be heard according to the following timetable:-

Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.

 

All appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing at least 10 clear school days in advance of the hearing.
 
All appellants will be sent a copy of the school’s case a reasonable time before the date of the hearing.
 
If any appellant wishes to submit additional evidence which was not included with their initial appeal, they must make sure that it is received within a reasonable time prior to the hearing date (normally three working days). Any additional evidence or information received too late may not be able to be considered at the appeal hearing. The appeal panel must decide whether it should be considered taking into account its significance and the effect of a possible need to adjourn the hearing.

 

In-year appeals 

Appeals resulting from in-year admission applications will be heard on a date to be arranged within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged with the Authority.
