Spring and New Life

We took photos of the new life we found. Blossom and buds on the trees. Primulas are spring flowers. These are crocus flowers. These are daffodils. We did some Spring take aways. We used a whole/part/part model.

Reading Week and World Book Day

We came dressed up as our favourite characters. We brought in our favourite books to share. We read this story. We wrote some sentences about events in the story. We did some fruit maths. We got a special present. We learned some facts about Tanzania. We learned lots of things about Tanzania.

Stay and Play

Making Slime Winter Playdough More slime! Make a boat for a penguin. Make a penguin. Decorate Elsa's castle. Busy, busy, busy! Make a snowman. We all had a lot of fun.

Chinese New Year - Kung Hei Fat Choi!

We counted to 10 in Chinese. We made new year cards. We tasted some lovely food. We made lucky envelopes. We did a dragon dance all the way around school. We brought in some things to show. We made our own dragons.

European Day of Languages

We dressed up. We painted the flag on our faces. We made french flags. We counted in French.

Welcome Service

We had a Welcome Service. We sang some songs to our parents. Our Gardeners introduced us to everyone. We had a great time.

First Day in Reception

we came to school with our Mums and Dads. We gave them big hugs. We gave them a special present. It had a special letter in it. And some special presents.
