  • Christmas Wreath Frame

    Tue 20 Oct 2020

Good afternoon. We will be selling our Christmas Wreath frames from tomorrow morning at the front of school. The frames costs £2.50 each (please have the correct money as we don't hold cash for change).

The frames could also be made into table decorations? However your child chooses.

We ask the children to decorate the frame and when complete parents to upload a photo onto their class Seesaw. A winner will be chosen from each class to win a prize. All entries need to be uploaded by Friday 11th December. Let's see how artistic you can be children!

Please use with care as the frames may have sharp edges

  • Parent Consultations

    Mon 19 Oct 2020

    Good morning.

Please note all parent consultations are held by phone call from school to the parent who made the booking - NOT in person. Thank you.

  • Drop Off & Pick Up

    Thu 15 Oct 2020

Can parents please adhere to their allocated times of arrival and pick up. These times are so that we can safely stagger the number of children and adults coming to or from school.

    Single children Families in EYFS and KS1 - 8:30 - 8:40 and 3:00 - 3:10

    Families with more than 1 child in all school 8:40 - 8:50 and 3:10 - 3:20

    Single children families in KS2 8:50 - 9:00 and 3:20 - 3:30

Please note these are now our official times for these groups. If your child arrives later than their allocated time in the morning, not only does it cause disruption to the class the teacher will need to enter a late mark in the register.

Please keep to your times. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

  • Covid - 19 Testing and School attendance

    Wed 14 Oct 2020

We appreciate there is a bit of confusion around sending children in to school or not. Please remember:

    1. If anyone in your household shows any Covid symptoms, they should have a test done - - a high temperature - a new or persistent cough - loss of taste or smell .

    2. All members of the household must self-isolate until the results of the test are known even if other members of the household have a test done and theirs returns negative. You should not send your child to school at least until the results of all the tests are known.

    3. If all tests come back as negative you do not need to continue to self-isolate and your child can return to school

    4. If a test comes back as positive do not send your child to school. Everyone in the household must self-isolate for 14 days from the onset of symptoms or from the date of the test if they showed no symptoms, even if anyone else in the household has a negative result.

    5. The person who tested positive must self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of symptoms or from the date of the test if no symptoms

If you are uncertain please check the DfE or Gov website for advice. Or if you are still unsure, ring / email us in school. Thank you.

  • Access to technology Questionnaire

    Wed 07 Oct 2020

Thank you to those parents who have responded to our Digital Access Questionnaire.

Sadly out of 242 children in our school and Nursery we have only had 172 responses, even allowing for 1 response per family. We have extended the closing time for the questionnaire, which will now close tonight.

All we need to know is if your child has access to an IT devise and to the internet at home, should a whole class have to self isolate.

If you haven't already done so, can parents please complete the questionnaire before the end of today. Many thanks for your assistance in this matter.

  • Telephones

    Tue 06 Oct 2020

    Good morning.

Unfortunately we are experiencing a problem with 2 of our phone lines. At our end the line is very crackly; sometimes all we can hear is very loud static noises. Sadly when this happens we cannot hear the person on the other end of the line, so we have to end the call. We are waiting for BT to come and have a look for us. Please bear with us if this happens during your call to us. Thank you.

  • Digital Access Questionnaire

    Fri 02 Oct 2020

In the event of a class pod being sent home to self–isolate we are trying to ascertain which children would not have access to technology. In order to be able to do this we would be grateful if all parents could complete the survey using the link below.

The questionnaire will close at 3:30 on Wednesday 7th October please. Thank you.
