  • Covid-19 Information flowchart for Parents / Carers

    Thu 10 Sep 2020

Please find a helpful information flow chart for parents regarding children with or with suspected Covid-19, or what to do if your child shows any symptoms. This is in tabs "Parents - Letters to Parents"

We must draw your attention to siblings. If one of your children is showing symptoms and has to self-isolate while awaiting test results, all siblings must also self-isolate until the test results are known.

If a test comes back as positive that person MUST self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of the symptoms. All members of the house-hold including siblings must also self-isolate for 14 days from the onset of the symptoms.

If the test comes back as negative all children can return to school, providing there is no-one else in the family showing any new symptoms.

If you are unable to book a test the person with the symptoms must self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of the symptoms and all house-hold members, including siblings, must self-isolate for 14 days. We have also been informed today that on occasion, new test appointments are released on-line at 10am.

  • Pick Up Times

    Mon 07 Sep 2020

Good afternoon. Can we please remind parents of the new staggered pick up times:

    Single children families in EYFS and KS1 - 3:00 - 3:10pm

    Families with more than 1 child in school - 3:10 - 3:20pm

    Single children families in KS2 - 3:20 - 3:30pm

These times are set so that ALL the children have an equal length of school day, and so that we can comply with social distancing for the safety of our parents. Please ensure you adhere only to the pick up times relevant for your child. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

  • Back to School

    Tue 01 Sep 2020

Good afternoon. We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. Just to clarify a couple of things:

One-Way: Please adhere to the one-way system in place. If you wish to speak to your child's class teacher please email (crontonce@ldst.org.uk) or phone (0151 424 3881) the school - staff cannot deal with queries at the class doors

Book Bags: These are not allowed in school. We will issue the children with a plastic reading wallet which we ask parents to wipe down both the wallet and book each evening at home.

Lunch Boxes: if your child is not staying for a school lunch they will need to bring their lunch in a lunch box / bag. Please wipe these boxes / bags down each day.

Water Bottle: Your child will need to bring in a filled water bottle each morning. The water fountains are not in use.

PE Kits: PE will start next week and will wherever possible be held outdoors. Your child will be told what day. They may come to school in their school PE kit on their PE day - please remember only navy / royal blue or black track suit bottoms are allowed. Football kits are not allowed for PE. All PE and uniform items are available for Kits for All or Boydells.

Keys Books: Please return all Keys Books to school.

Please remember this is new to all of us so please bear with us while we adjust to the new way of school.

Please keep checking your child's class page on our website for more information.

    See you all tomorrow
