Covid-19 Information flowchart for Parents / Carers
Thu 10 Sep 2020Please find a helpful information flow chart for parents regarding children with or with suspected Covid-19, or what to do if your child shows any symptoms. This is in tabs "Parents - Letters to Parents"
We must draw your attention to siblings. If one of your children is showing symptoms and has to self-isolate while awaiting test results, all siblings must also self-isolate until the test results are known.
If a test comes back as positive that person MUST self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of the symptoms. All members of the house-hold including siblings must also self-isolate for 14 days from the onset of the symptoms.
If the test comes back as negative all children can return to school, providing there is no-one else in the family showing any new symptoms.
If you are unable to book a test the person with the symptoms must self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of the symptoms and all house-hold members, including siblings, must self-isolate for 14 days. We have also been informed today that on occasion, new test appointments are released on-line at 10am.
