  • One-Way system

    Mon 23 Nov 2020

    Dear parents /  Carers.

Can I please remind everyone of our one-way system around school This is as instructed by the DfE guidance, highly recommended by Health & Safety and forms part of our approved Risk Assessment.

Those entering the school playground from Iver Close should continue in a clock-wise direction, leave school via the Nursery gate, on to the pavement, back into school via the main gate , walk around the side of school and exit via the field gate.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter

  • Non Uniform Day - 20/12/2020

    Thu 19 Nov 2020

Good afternoon. Don't forget our non uniform day tomorrow. If your child has any Christmas jumpers or Christmas themed clothes they would like to wear that would be great. If not it's no problem, they just come in non uniform.

If your child wishes to return a Smartie tube tomorrow that would be gratefully acceptable but only if your child wishes to do this, it is not mandatory. Thank you

  • Acceptable Use Policy

    Tue 17 Nov 2020

At the beginning of November, we asked parents to read and accept our Acceptable Use Policy, in the event we had to revert to remote learning. See below for the original post.

Many thanks to those parents who have completed this for us.

However, so far, we have had just 100 responses. It is important that parents read, understand and agree our Policy below for each child.

The questionnaire closes on Friday 20th November. If you haven't already done so we would be grateful if you can you please act on this as soon as possible. If you have not read and signed the acceptable user policy you will not be able to access the "Live inputs" that we are hoping teachers will be able to give in the event that a whole class has to self-isolate.

Many thanks for your support in this.

    Good evening

In the event that we need to use remote learning through online platforms such as Team, please read the Acceptable Use Policies on our website under the Remote Learning tab on the Class Pages tab.

Children Acceptable Use Policy - please read through the relevant one/s with your child / ren,. Staff will be covering this with the them in school.

Once you have read and accept the Policy please complete the agreement using the link below. Once we have received your agreement we can send your child's email user name and password. Please ensure you keep these safe as they will need these to access the remote learning should this be needed. All agreement responses need to be returned by Friday 20th November 2020.

The link to the agreement is Acceptable Use Policies (Agreement) This link has been emailed to parents and is available from our Facebook page, Acceptable Use Policies (Agreement)

Thank you for your support in this matter.

The children will be exploring the theme within their class over the week. We are planning the following activities on the following days:

Monday 16th - Odd socks day (Normal Uniform)

Tuesday 17th - Odd/crazy hair day (Normal Uniform)

Wednesday 18th - Odd/ novelty tie day (Normal Uniform)

Thursday 19th - Children and staff will be given some thing to wear and to take home (Normal Uniform)

Friday 20th – Christmas jumper/clothes day as the children can return their Smartie tubes if they wish

  • non uniform day

    Tue 10 Nov 2020

    Good afternoon.

Further to my earlier post and following some really lovely phone calls and emails, I have decided,  so as not to disappoint the children, to hold the non-uniform day this coming Friday - 13th November.

As some of the children were looking forward to wearing their own clothes on Friday they can do so if they so wish.

But please do not send in any items into school for this - it is purely a non-uniform day for the children.

We will also continue with our last non-uniform day for this year next Friday - 20th November. On this day the children can bring back any smartie tubes if they wish but this is not mandatory.

Thank you again for the support of what we are trying to organise for our children and school and apologies for any confusion but hopefully now we have a way forward that is good for everyone.

    Best wishes
