Spring 1

Today, we began to learn the names for the setting and the rooms in the house in Spanish.

This half term we will be reading the Spanish version of the story, Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  We began today by learning the names of the characters.

         

 

 

 

Autumn 2

We are getting so much better at our winter poem.

 

We have also been learning a new Spanish song about a snowman.

 

 

This term, we have been learning a poem about the winter.  For each line of the poem, we performed an action.

We listened to a Spanish lady saying the poem and tried to join in.  Well done Year 2, it is very fast and you were amazing!

Autumn 1

This half term, we have been learning how to say the months of the year in Spanish.  To help us remember them, we did an action for each month.

Then, we were able to say which month our birthdays are in.

                         My birthday  is in August. 

               

               My birthday is in June.

 

 

              My birthday is in January.

 

We learnt how to say, Happy Birthday in Spanish, and discovered a strange tradition connected to birthdays in Spain.
