Cronton CE Primary School is an inclusive school. At Cronton CE Primary School, we believe that diversity is a strength, which should be respected and celebrated by all those who learn, teach and visit here. Our school is a Church of England (Aided) Primary School, however we welcome children from all backgrounds, abilities, races and religions.
Our school population evidences the inclusive nature of our school.
54% of our pupils are girls (125) and 46% are boys (108).
Our pupil population consists of children from British, Indian, Chinese, White European, White Asian, other Black African and other Asian ethnicities.
Although the majority of our pupils are from a Church of England background we also have pupils who are Muslim, Christian, Catholic, Hindu, and others identified as other or no religion.
We have children who are Autistic; have been assessed as dyslexic, have ADHD or have Down Syndrome.
Currently, our school has 10% pupils (23) entitled to Pupil Premium.
OBJECTIVE: to promote spiritual, moral, social and cultural development through all appropriate curricular opportunities with particular reference to issues of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
OBJECTIVE: Raise awareness of sexual orientation and promote positive attitudes towards alternative lifestyles and lessen the chances of the word ‘Gay’ being used negatively.
OBJECTIVE: To explore and understand the reasons for the disproportionately higher absentee levels of SEND pupils and what support can be given to SEND individual pupils with to begin to improve attendance rates.

Cronton Church of England Primary School is a single storey building with ramps to enter and exit and disabled toilet facilities. We have a dedicated disabled parking bay in our school car park.
